Opportunities To Help

The number of children and families served has dramatically increased over the years. In 2015, the Rainbow Room spent approximately $68,000 helping 828 children in our area. As a non-profit organization, HCCP and the Rainbow Room rely on the generous contributions of individuals, companies and organizations within the county. To support the Rainbow Room, you can donate to our Brown Bag Campaign that begins in April (Child Abuse Prevention Month) by purchasing needed items from a supplied list; conduct a community drive to collect diapers, socks, or other critically needed items; volunteer to help stock shelves and put new items into inventory; assist with our annual “Race for the Rainbow” duck race fundraiser at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in September; or make a cash donation (all donations to the Rainbow Room are tax deductible).
